Little adult
Being a little adult is not all it's cracked up to be. I am stressed beyond belief, and completely overwhelmed with all the responsibilities I have.
On the bright side, my savior is the Prince of Peace. I have already seen him moving and working in so many ways. This place is where my heart is and even though it's difficult, I have no doubts that this is exactly where I'm supposed to be. I could not be more ecstatic about life at the moment.
Life is crazy on base. We're trying to get the whole ranch ready for the students, which includes: Building a new dock, re-stringing the tire swings, mowing, painting, and lots of other things.
We're still eight drivers, two male staff, and three female staff short. As it is right now, it will only be me and one other female leader, with 15 girls in Chicago. The thought is completely unnerving and quite terrifying. Prayers for my sanity would be appreciated.
My prayers go out continually to all of my friends and family back home. I hope everyone's starting their summers off wonderfully. I love you all and I am so thankful, even though I don't express that enough. You guys are amazing.
"I'm baptizing you here in the river, turning your old life in for a kingdom life. The real action comes next: The main character in this drama—compared to him I'm a mere stagehand—will ignite the kingdom life within you, a fire within you, the Holy Spirit within you, changing you from the inside out. He's going to clean house—make a clean sweep of your lives. He'll place everything true in its proper place before God; everything false he'll put out with the trash to be burned." (Matthew 3:11, 12 MSG)
